Register as a Member (Client)
Client Members can post, track and manage consulting projects and consulting firm relationships. Client information is completely anonymous to other clients and consultants until the client chooses to share their contact information with selected consultants.
Submit Project Details
To submit projects, Client Members complete a detailed Project Requirements form with the details of the project. This form includes project deadlines, anticipated budgets, and requirements sought from the chosen consulting firm. Client Members can also attach any supporting documentation and select how long the project will be open for bid. Remember that posting projects is absolutely free of charge.
Your Personal Account Manager will help you Review Project Details
Once the project requirements are submitted, the Client Member will be assigned a ConsultantFORCE Personal Account Manager. They will review your project by phone and email and validate the requirements. Your account manager will assist you in honing your project details to ensure that consultants clearly understand your needs and requirements.
Posting a Project for Bids and Matching Qualified Consultants
Once your project has been validated, the project will be posted to the site and open for bids. Registered Consultants can submit bids through ConsultantFORCE. All their proposals are submitted confidentially, so only the posting client can see the proposals and the details of the consulting firm profiles.
Receive and Review Project Proposals
Client Members receive notifications of each proposal submitted for your project. Proposals are then confidentially reviewed.
Review References and Profiles
Client Members can review Registered Consultant qualifications, past experience and ratings on ConsultantFORCE. They can also review comments left by prior clients and other consultant references. Consultants providing three references from completed ConsultantFORCE projects will have the ConsultantFORCE Quality Checkmark next to their name.
Contact Consultant
Client Members choose which Registered Consultants they wish to contact from the list of submitted proposals. This ensures that only those Registered Consultants with the qualifications and ability to meet the project requirements are contacted, saving the time and efforts of both parties.
Interview and Negotiate
Client Member and Registered Consultant will confer together to review the project, discuss requirements, and negotiate the terms of a contract to complete that project. All contracts and negotiations are handled by the respective companies and are not part of the ConsultantFORCE process. ConsultantFORCE has no responsibility to either party regarding any agreement negotiated.
Award Project
When a qualifying Registered Consultant is chosen, the Client Member will award the project. Project terms and arrangements will be identified. Project management, communications, contracting and invoicing are handled in whatever manner is agreed upon by the Client Member and Registered Consultant. Awarded Consultants are required to post a copy of all invoices to their ConsultantFORCE account for commission tracking. ConsultantFORCE has no responsibility to either party regarding any agreement negotiated.
Register as a Member (Consultant)
Registered Consultants can view projects, submit, track and manage proposals, and engage in Client Member relationships. Registered Consultant information is completely anonymous to other consultants and to clients until the Registered Consultant chooses to submit a proposal. To register, consultants will complete a simple form, agree to the Terms of Use, and agree to pay commission fees on completed projects. They can then pay their annual registration fee and begin applying for projects. Click here to learn more about fees and commissions.
Complete Consultant Profile
Once registered, consultants and consulting firms will complete a detailed Consultant Profile. Registered Consultants can add work samples, videos, links to their web site and blogs, as well as reference for work completed. Consultants providing three references from completed projects will have the ConsultantFORCE Quality Checkmark added next to their name for Clients to view.
Find Qualified Projects and Submit Bids
Registered Consultants can find qualified projects in two ways: • Search for projects directly on ConsultantFORCE. • Receive qualified leads about projects that match their profile by email. Once a qualified project is found, the Registered Consultant may submit a detailed proposal, outlining their skills and qualifications that meet the project requirements. Registered Consultants may attach supporting documentation, marketing materials, videos or other types of media to demonstrate their expertise and ability to complete the project.
Respond to Client Questions
Once the proposal is submitted, those Registered Consultants who most closely meet the project requirements will be contacted by the Client Member. Registered Consultants may be asked follow-up questions to further clarify their project proposals.
Negotiating an Agreement with the Client
When a qualifying Registered Consultant is awarded a project by a ClientMember, project terms and arrangements will be identified. Project management, communications, contracting and invoicing are handled in whatever manner is agreed upon by the Client Member and Registered Consultant. Awarded Consultants are required to post a copy of all invoices to their ConsultantFORCE account for commission tracking. All contracts and negotiations are handled by the respective companies and are not part of the ConsultantFORCE process. ConsultantFORCE has no responsibility to either party regarding any agreement negotiated between them.
